TODD McLELLAN – DECONSTRUCTION

When my brother was a kid he used to wander around the house with a screwdriver taking apart anything within reach… plug sockets, video player, hinges on the kitchen cupboards…

I can imagine Canadian photography artist Todd McLellan was the same.

He collects nostalic gadgets, old cameras, typwriters etc, then meticulously takes them apart, lays all the components out on a table, takes a photo, then throws them in the air. Brilliant.
